EXETER HOTELS
Exeter is the administrative centre of Devon. Heavily damaged by air raids during World War II, it retains some of its historical buildings and and a small town's relaxed atmosphere. Exeter Cathedral was founded in 1050 when the bishop's seat was moved from the nearby town of Crediton because of Exeter's Roman walls.
