Lesvos, or Lesbos, also commonly referred to by the Greeks as Mytiline, or Mytilini - is the third largest Greek Island. It is situated in the north-eastern Aegean Sea, near the coast of Asia Minor. Like a good meze, Lesvos is an island with a veritable array of small traditional villages and also has it's share of larger and more popular tourist locations.
