Amorgos is the easternmost island of the Greek Cyclades island group. It is the closest island of the Cyclades to the neighboring Dodecanese. From excavations and findings, especially burial tombs we believe that Amorgos had a major presence in prehistoric years, particularly during early Cycladic civilization (3200 to 2000 BC).
