This stone-built traditional house in a village called Ano Gavrio, overlooking the Aegean Sea.
Here then, it is where played architect and the senses were the decorator, together with the most beautiful of all delights; tranquility and escapism to the beauty of the Aegean sea. It's a two storey in Andros.
In the past, the upper floor was used as the main residence while the lower floor served as storage rooms, a grape-pressing room and stables. The owner undertook the task of its reusal, seeeing through the exceptional possibilities of these ruins.
Facing South West protected from the strong-western wind and over looking the sea through beautiful hills and valleys, the basic conditions to reformviate this traditional house were other optimistic.
Thus, the function of the interior space changed radically, so as to combine the restoration of the old with the exploitation of the newly built spaces. The result was that an extra ordinarily special house was reborn. Coming out to the court - yard or to the veranda the sun covers with its persistent rays the infinite beauty of the Andros nature.
