Self-Catering
The Windmill is over 100 years old and has been converted into one of the most romantic places to hide away and relax from the outside world. The property is 1km, no more than a 20 minute stroll, from the beach of Skala Eressos and 3km from the mountain village of Eressos. Set in it's own private grounds, this two story traditional building offers something a little out of the ordinary.
The ground floor entrance leads into a lounge room with kitchen facilities and refrigerator. A door leads to a small private bathroom with sink, w.c and shower. A wooden spiral staircase leads to the first floor bedroom with double bed, wooden floor and feature circular wooden ceiling.
French windows open onto a small ivy covered balcony offering views of the surrounding countryside and stunning volcanic mountains.
Can we just mention here that it is really very very difficult to take a picture of a round building with a digital camera. The private grounds are covered with a carpet of poppies and sunflowers, vegetables and corn and there is a stone terrace with BBQ and bamboo covering which offers shaded retreat to laze away the day. This property is extremely private and extremely romantic.
