Villa Guilena, MelanesVillas with private swimming pools are almost non-existent on Naxos, so we are delighted to have found one! Situated just outside the small farming village of Melanes, a little inland from Naxos Town, Villa Guilena overlooks a beautiful rural valley. It is a two-storey house built in Cycladic style.Entrance is into the L-shaped living room on the first floor. This has an open-plan kitchen area to one side with a full cooker and a fridge, a built-in sofa bed if required for a child, and a guest W.C off. French windows lead onto a covered patio to the front with lovely rural views over the valley and the hills opposite. 15 stairs lead down to the two ground floor bedrooms - one double, one twin - each of which opens onto the covered pool-side patio. Also ground floor is the tiled shower room with W.C and washing machine. Furnishings throughout the house are stylish and comfortable. 
The swimming pool to the front measures approximately 45 sq. metres. A couple of other houses are nearby but you are not overlooked. Melanes has a couple of taverns and small grocery shops.
