Vedema Resort is situated in the medieval village of Megalohori, 7 km from Fira town, the capital of the island; it is the only deluxe hotel in Santorini and a member of The Luxury Collection of Starwood.
Lush gardens contrast with the Cycladic architecture, providing 34 fully furnished villas with private verandas, lounge-dining rooms and every modern comfort and 2 luxurious suites with scrumptious view, four poster beds, external and internal Jacuzzi. Its 15th century-styled winery restaurant, “Vinsanto” serves Mediterranean cuisine whilst the “Pergola” pool restaurant offers light meals and Greek specialties.

Vinsanto Restaurant
An exceptional atmosphere followed by the utmost of the Mediterranean cuisine, prepared and presented by our awarded Chef. Canava Wine Cellar
Heliopoulos Vineyards are located in Megalohori, Santorini. Megalohori is noted for its vine-growing tradition and ideal eco climate. The vineyards consist of 70,000 square metres where three local varieties, the Assirtico, Aidani and Athiri grapes are carefully cultivated, to produce excellent wines of limited quantity.
The unique taste and blend of the wines result from the quality of the grape, which grow under intense sunlight, and strong Aegean breezes.
The 17th century wine cellar, known as “Canava” is adjacent to the vineyards and located in the Vedema Hotel and at the disposal of those interested to step into the island's wine tradition. Visitors can experience superb wine tasting the “Canava”.
