This "do-it-yourself" program for a Greece Holiday in Lesvos allows you to follow your own schedule without any fuss. 9 days and 8 nights takes in the sights of Athens and Lesvos. Accommodation and car rental starting at 670 Euro, from Athens daily.

ITINERARY :
- DAY 1 : ATHENS
On arrival you will be met by our assistant and transferred to your hotel by our taxi driver. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Athens.
- DAY 2 : ATHENS/MYTILENE
In the morning you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Mytilene. On arrival pick up of the car at the airport. You may visit the city with its beautiful neoclassical buildings, the castle and the Museum of Modern Art. Overnight in Mytilene town. (B)
- DAY 3 : MOLYVOS
In the morning departure for the northern part of the island passing through Panaghiouda, Moria with its picturesque towers, Pamfila with the church of Santa Barbara, Pirgi Thermis with the Byzantine church "Panaghia i Troulioti" built in the 14th century and Thermi with the famous mineral springs. High on the mountains you may visit the monastery of St. Raphael and close to Mandamados the monastery of Taxiarchis. From there you may descend to Skala Sikamias with the chapel "Panaghia tis Gorgonas" and from there take the road to Mithimna (Molyvos). Overnight in Molyvos. (B)
- DAY 4 : MOLYVOS
Day free to enjoy probably the most beautiful village of the island with its picturesque little harbour dominated by a castle and tiers of red-tiled stone houses climbing up the slopes away from the blue sea. You can also drive along the coastline of Petra and reach Anaxos, a popular resort because of its beautiful beach. Overnight in Molyvos. (B)
- DAY 5 : ERESSOS
Drive to the west side of the island passing little traditional villages like Skoutaros, Filia, Skalohori, Vatoussa and Andissa. A must in the area is the monastery "Moni Perivolis" that was founded in 1600-1650. You can also visit the seaside village of Gavathas, Ancient Andissa, Kampos and Lapsarna, excellent locations for swimming and relaxation. Driving from Andissa to Sigri, famous for its petrified forest, be sure to visit the monastery of Ypsilos, which sits at the top of Mount Ordimnos, once a dormant volcano. Arrive in Eressos, the birthplace of Sappho the poetess and Theophrastus the philosopher. Overnight in Eressos. (B)
- DAY 6 : KALLONI
You can enjoy the day swimming in the crystal clear waters of the 3km long white sandy beach of Skala Eressos or enjoy a drink or a meal in one of the many coffee shops or seaside taverns of the village. Driving through Mesotopos, Agra, Parakila, you will head to Kalloni bay with the towns of Kalloni and Skala Kallonis, which is the port and home to the island's sardine-fishing fleet. Overnight in Kalloni. (B)
- DAY 7 : VATERA
Morning departure for the southern part of the island, taking the road to Yera and enjoying the view of the gulf as you drive. You can make a stop at Polichnitos in the beautiful countryside and also include a visit to Skala Polichnitos for swimming and a delicious meal. Continue on the road to Vrissa until you reach Vatera, or head to Aghiassos, one of the most picturesque traditional towns on the island with narrow roads and simple houses with wooden balconies decorated with a multitude of potted flowers. Overnight in Vatera. (B)
- DAY 8 : MYTILENE/ATHENS
In the morning you take the road to Mytilene, the capital of the island. You will reach the picturesque town of Plomari and the charming beach of Aghios Issidoros just outside the town. Then drive along the gulf of Yera, passing through little picturesque villages like Skopelos and Papados until you reach the mineral springs of Yera. On arrival in Mytilene town, drive along the coast to the airport, drop off the car and take the flight back to Athens. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. (B)
- DAY 9 : ATHENS/AIRPORT
You will be met by our assistant at your hotel and transferred to the airport by our taxi driver for your departure flight. (B)
